How To Avoid Catching A Disease From Public Toilets As US Battles Toilet-Related Health Outbreak

Question: Are you a hoverer or a squatter? Do you like to do it bareback, with a cover or do you prefer using Toilet paper to protect your bum? What I’m asking is, what do you do when you have to use a public restroom? Whether they’re spotless or downright filthy the thought of using the toilet where thousands of people you don’t know have rested their behind grosses most of us out.

And when the person before left evidence of what they did in the toilet bowl (yuck!) or dribbled wee on the seat of course the thought of the spread of germs freaks people out.

But the real question is, if you do let your naked bum touch the toilet can you Catch anything? More specifically can you catch a sexually transmitted disease (STD)? If you use a public restroom without protection (as it were) do you risk walking away with chlamydia, gonorrhea or syphilis?

Fortunately a doctor has taken pity on us and is helping to separate fact from fiction by revealing what you can and can’t catch from using a public restroom.
