OK, it’s confession time. I don’t watch Dancing With the Stars. Never have. I watch clips here and there because I have to write about the show for work. So I do know who is competing and get the main thrust of what’s going on, who’s winning, who’s an atrocious dancer with a bad attitude, etc.
This season one of the biggest storylines, as it were, is the fact that Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa are both competing on the show. Given the commitment involved in training for DWTS that is a big deal for any parent. But with them both competing it’s obviously going to have an impact on their three kids.
In an interview this week, Nick, 43, admitted that saying: “We’re all having such a good time, you don’t want it to come to an end because it’s a really, really special journey. It’s a lot of time commitment. It’s a lot of physical and emotional stuff you’re going through, but in the end it’s so worth it and it’s such an incredible challenge… It’s not like anything I’ve ever done in my career…so it’s been an education.”
So how do Vanessa and Nick juggle the show and raising three little kids?
