In many states you can’t drive a car until you’re at least 16 or 17 years old. You can’t buy cigarettes until you’re 18 (or 21 in California) and you’re not Allowed to buy alcohol until you’re 21.

Yet, in many states kids as young as 14 are allowed to get Legally married. Does it make sense? Not really, according to critics. In fact, more and more parents are concerned that nothing is being done about laws that permit child marriage in many states across the country.
