Happy 21st Birthday to my sweet daughter, Lauren Michelle Crawley. Today the team celebrated her earthly birthday at Lauren's Lighthouse chapel in Winneba. We conducted a medical clinic, passing out life-saving mosquito nets and prayer-walking the land and surrounding area. It was a precious time. Some team members saw the Church for the first time, and all of us saw it with a roof for the first time.
But the best gift of the day was that several people gave their lives to Jesus today! What a great party there must have been in heaven. Bishop Odai began the clinic by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and asking for people to respond. Then I led those who did in a prayer of salvation and commitment of their lives to Christ. Later, Courtney led two more people to respond to Christ for their salvation. Near the end of the day, I shared the Gospel with a Muslim woman named Katrina. She was not ready to turn to Christ so please be praying for her. She lives very near the church. Also, pray for the pastor of the church in Winneba. Pastor Odom has a passionate vision for reaching the lost and growing the church there.
I am so thankful to God for arranging this very special day. And thanks to the team here who love Lauren, our family, and Ghana, West Africa. I love each of them so very much.
