1. TIFFANY & CO.

Tiffany & Co. is the first on our list of the top ten designer jewelry brands. Tiffany & Co., originally known as Tiffany & Young, began as a stationery and fancy goods store in New York. Today, however, it is a household name that has been in business since 1837. Tiffany and Co. havebeen recognized for its silver craftsmanship and remains America's leading silversmith.

Since 1845, the brand has showcased its most extravagant and rare pieces in its annual Blue Book collection. The Return To Tiffany, Tiffany Key, and Tiffany Solette, as well as their signature 6-prongengagement rings, are among their most popular and well-known pieces. Tiffany & Co. is famous for itslittle blue box, which is synonymous with quality, luxury, and style.

2. WINSTON, HARRY

Harry Winston was established in New York City in 1932 by Harry Winston himself. For his fine jewelry creations, he has quickly crowned"King of Diamonds" and "Jeweler to the Stars." The 45.42-carat Hope Diamond, a heart-shaped greyish-blue diamond crown centerpiece that was passed down to King George IV of the United Kingdom, was one of his most notable acquisitions. 3. CARTIER

Louis François Cartier founded the brand in 1847, earning the title "The Jeweler of Kings, the King among Jewelers" by pioneering the use of platinum and diamond. The Love collection, Justen un Clou, and Panthera are among their most notable lines. Celebrities love these distinctive collections, which come in a variety of gold colors and with or without diamond embellishments.

4. CHOPARD

Chopard is a Swiss brand founded in the 1860s by Louis Ulysses Coppard, best known for producing watches and pocket watches for women. Chopard was known for its Art-Deco-inspiredtimepieces and Happy Diamonds line when it was sold to Karl Scheifele in 1963.


In the mid-1970s, the brand's signature free-floating diamonds behind the watch glass were created. It is now a corporate partner of the Cannes Film Festival, as well as the official timekeeper of the Monaco Grand Prix and the Mille Miglia. Coppard takes pride in using ethically sourced gold and hopes to eventually use sustainable gold in all of its pieces.

5. VAN CLEEF & ARPELS 

Following their marriage in 1895, Alfred van Clef and Estelle Arpels launched a luxurious line in 1906 that is still in operation today. Van Cleef and Arpel opened their first store in Place Vendome in Paris in the 1940s, followed by Palm Beach and New York.

This Maison’spatented, innovative creation called Mystery Set is one of their exceptional accomplishments. An intricate piece with a clip that takes a skilled jeweler 300 hours or more to create. Van Cleef & Arpels is well-known for their whimsical use of animals, flowers, and nature in their designs.

6. GRAFF

Laurence Graff founded the Graff company in England in 1960. The company is well-known for its large diamond designs, as well as for purchasing and resetting prominent diamonds. The Graff Pink, a 20-carat pink emerald cut diamond, and the Delaire Sunrise, the world's largest emerald cut Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond, are two of the most famous Graff diamonds.

7. YURMAN, DAVID

David and Sybil Yurman founded this line in 1980. It is known forsculpting designs reminiscent of the American Craft Movement. Their signature cable bracelet in sterling silver and gold, embellished with colored gems, is one of their most popular designs.

Buccellati is an Italian jeweler that creates gold, silver, and platinum jewelry. The brand has expanded globally and is known for its pieces that are inspired by animals and insects and reflect Old Hollywood’s design. Buccellati was founded in 1919 in Milan, Italy, and by the 1950s had expanded to the United States, with stores in New York and Florida. In 2001, they debuted their first watch collection in Geneva.

9. BVLGARI 

Bvlgari, also known as Bulgari, is well-known for its colored gemstones and diamonds. Since its inception in 1884, it has been a client favorite for those looking for brightly colored, large pieces with chromatic effects. This brand was also responsible for the revival of the cabochon cut; a popular gemstone cut in antiquity.

10. BOUCHERON

Boucheron rounds out our list of the top ten designer jewelry brands. Frédéric Boucheron founded the company in 1858 in Paris, France, and his designs were influenced by Egyptian and Asian art, resulting in unusual stone combinations such as onyx and diamonds. He was also the first to combine bronze, ivory, and gold in his jewelry.
