I only knew Belif skincare by name until I received some complimentary products to try from Influenster. Pronounced "believe" it is a Korean skincare brand well known for its range of moisturizing products. In my Voxbox I received the Belif True Cream Moisturizing Bomb (full size) and the Age Knockdown Bomb (sample size). Review:
If you Google for skincare brand names, there are several that will popup. But it's not guaranteed that every product will suit your skin even though it was made for your skin type. Belif stands somewhere in the middle for me. According to instructions, use the age knockdown bomb before the moisturizing bomb. At first, I tried the moisturizing bomb alone. It is lightweight and a little bit goes a long way. A coin-sized amount is enough to cover the entire face. It leaves a lot of shine on the face when applied, but it reduces after a few minutes. It does leave the skin moisturized, however, I feel there's room for improvement. There's a slight fragrance that is not irritating. Claims say the moisturizer keeps skin hydrated for 26 hours. I wore it overnight and did not experience any dryness throughout the morning. The highlighted ingredient Comfrey Leaf is believed to boost skin cell formation and reduce inflammation.

The age knockdown bomb is an anti-aging serum, suggested use before the moisturizing bomb. I used a pea-sized amount, and it sinks instantly and mattifies the skin. The fine lines on my forehead almost disappear. When I used the moisturizing bomb second, there was less shine. Also, my skin appeared semi-matte after some time.

As for packaging, it is quite simple. But you'll have to be careful with the heavy ceramic jar. I like how the lid is a cap, something new. The Belif Moisturizing Skincare Bomb comes in a 50 ml jar and the Age Knockdown Bomb in a 50 ml bottle.
Belif vs Olay:
If I compare skin care products, the Belif moisturizing bomb with Olay micro-sculpting cream, there's a clear winner. This is not about high end skin care vs drugstore but better quality and performance. I prefer Olay over Belif and there are a few reasons for that.
- The Olay Regenerist micro-sculpting cream does not leave a shiny residue after application.
- It keeps my skin hydrated, radiant, and super soft throughout the day. Whereas, the Belif moisturizing bomb lacks radiance.
- Both have anti-aging benefits, the same amount of product but Olay is more affordable.
Final Thoughts:
It is important to follow a good beauty routine to keep looking young and fresh. I will not add the Belif moisturizing bomb to my regime because Olay works better for me. But I might consider the Age Knockdown Bomb. If you're looking for high-end moisturizers for dehydrated skin then you might want to try the moisturizing skincare bomb.
Pros: Works well as a daily-wear moisturizer, serum reduces the appearance of fine lines.
Cons: Both products are expensive, not cruelty-free.
