When it comes to sunscreen one must double cleanse with an oil based Cleanser followed by a foaming cleanser. However, some people can’t find a suitable oil cleanser even after many trial and errors. In such cases, a product that works double duty suits well. Today’s review is about one such product that removes sunscreen as well as makeup and that is Foxtale Cleanser.

Packaging, Texture and Fragrance

The cleanser is housed in an electric blue coloured, airless pump plastic bottle packaging. The product works well so far and the cap fits tightly too. The product quantity is 100 ml and some may find it a bulky packaging, however I wouldn’t mind traveling with this product since it’s a two in one product. The texture of the product is kind of silky, smooth and the consistency is slightly runny and milky. It spreads across the face easily and lathers up pretty good in hard water too.

My experience with Foxtale Cleanser

Foxtale cleanser is designed as a one and done product to remove makeup as well as sunscreen. As mentioned earlier, the face wash lathers up easily and cleanses the skin thoroughly well. It not only removes the sunscreen and makeup effortlessly but also leaves the skin soft to touch.

I usually take one pump to clean up my face and I need another pump for my neck and throat area. The cleanser gets washed off easily without leaving any slippery residue. The best part about this cleanser is the softness and brightness it imparts post washing off. I have even noticed how my whiteheads appeared minimized whenever I use this face wash. You can even use this face wash just on your oily skin t-zone to reduce oiliness and address the whiteheads.

Speaking of makeup, I am not much of a make-up person. However if BB cream counts as a makeup, then I do use one regularly. To my surprise Foxtale cleanser removed all of my BB cream without drying out my skin. I would however suggest not to use the cleanser much near waterline as it stings a bit while removing gel eyeliner.

In the case of silicone based sunscreen, if you still want to follow a double cleansing routine then too this product works well. This cleanser works well if you use it as a second cleanser in a double cleansing routine. You just need to reduce the amount of product you use. However that being said I don’t think one can use this product in the AM as well as the PM routine daily. Since it is a thorough cleanser you may avoid using it in the morning routine and stick to inculcating it in the evening routine. On some occasions you may include it in your AM and PM routine both

It not only reduces the efforts but is also a good fit if you are someone who follows a minimalist skincare routine. It effortlessly removes sunscreen and light makeup. Some may find the fragrance a bit strong, but if you lather it up very nicely the fragrance almost fades away before you even apply it to the face.
