I bought the Dot and Key Probiotic gel moisturizer after seeing the rave reviews everywhere and am totally loving it.

Packaging, Texture and Fragrance

The probiotic moisturizer is available in a glass jar with a plastic lid and an inner lid to prevent leakage. Glass may seem heavy according to usage and travel purpose however I find it cute. The product has a gel texture that is a little dense (not too) and has a faint hint of sky blue colour. The fragrance of the moisturizer is something that I absolutely love. It smells of cucumber and fades away as soon as you apply.

My experience with Dot and Key Probiotic Moisturizer

This is an oil free moisturizer with a watery texture and gel consistency. Upon immediate application it gives a nice cooling effect and hydration without any oily or greasy residue. After applying it just vanishes into your skin. Even if you apply it in excess you won’t feel any heaviness as such. The product is silicone based and provides sufficient hydration to the skin.

The moisturizer is lighter in texture than Pond’s Superlight Gel. I can clearly make out a difference in both. The best part about Dot and Key Probiotic Moisturizer is that it doesn’t have any significant fragrance as such. Whatever cucumber-like fresh fragrance it has that too fades away quickly. I have used this moisturizer underneath a sunscreen too and it works well. However with regular use of oil free moisturizer the skin may become dehydrated after a couple of months. I have experienced this with almost all oil free moisturizers in India.

One can easily apply the product in excess due to the texture and this will finish up fast. Rather this is the product that I have finished up the fastest. After using almost 6-7 oil free moisturizers for my oily skin I can definitely say Dot and Key probiotic moisturizer is the best moisturizer for oily skin in India.

I am mighty impressed with Dot and Key probiotic moisturizer. It sufficiently hydrates the skin and excess sebum oil at bay. I have used the moisturizer for almost 2 months and then posted the review. Dot and Key probiotic moisturizer is the best hyaluronic acid and probiotic based, oil free moisturiser in India. I would however suggest this moisturiser only for combination and oily skin types. Dry skin and normal skin will need an extra layer of moisturiser.
