Rose Namajunas Family
On the feast of Saints Peter and Paul in 1992, Namajunas was born to parents who were originally from Lithuania in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Rose was given to her in honor of her great-grandmother Ro Gotalkait Namajnien, whose husband served as an officer for an independent Lithuania.
The Soviets ambushed him and killed him close to his home in Kaunas, which was serving as the provisional capital of Lithuania at the time.

Angela Hill was the opponent for Namajunas during the event that took place at UFC 192 on October 3, 2015. After a few rounds of striking exchanges on the feet, Namajunas eventually put Hill away with a knockout punch.
