Biography of Cara Buono
Buono made her film début in 1992, starring alongside Ethan Hawke in Stephen Gyllenhaal’s British mystery “Waterland.”
Years later, Buono would star with Hawke’s daughter in one of Netflix’s most unexpected successes, “Stranger Things.”She also appeared in the sports drama ‘Gladiator,’ which starred Cuba Gooding Jr.
In 1992, she appeared in three episodes of NBC’s drama series “I’ll Fly Away” and continued to feature on several successful TV shows while also pursuing her film career.
‘Tribeca’ (1993), ‘The Single Guy’ (1995), ‘New York Undercover’ (1996), and ‘Law & Order’ all featured her in one episode or guest parts (1996 and 1998).
