What’s New At Pink House! (In May)

After a crazy jam packed March, I am back at it again this month to debut all of the fun new fashions at Pink House Boutique in Glendale! Have you been there before? If you are in Arizona, I highly recommend that you go and take a look at everything because you will be in love. And if you aren’t near Glendale, you can still take a look at their website and get some popular pinup name brands, as well as smaller brands.

Every month they get in all new stock. Shirts, skirts, dresses, and so much more… My best friend Honey De Luxe and I were lucky enough to visit the boutique and craft a few outfits with everything new in stock! We had a great time and I can’t wait to show you everything there is. So let’s dive right in!

The first outfit is a stunner from Unique Vintage! With a blue floral print and white trim on the crossover neckline, you know there’s nothing better to wear for Spring. When I first saw it, I didn’t feel it suited my style but both Honey and Nikki thought it would look fabulous on me. Boy were they right! The cut is super flattering and the skirt is more than full enough to accommodate a petticoat, which I did in these photos.

And if you’re looking for accessories, you know Pink House has you covered! Like I mentioned, there is a white petticoat underneath, but you could choose any one of the multitude of colors found in the floral pattern. For jewelry, I went with these adorable cupcake earrings from Bliss By NIkki G, and topped it all of with a classic chiffon scarf in hot pink.

Honey’s first outfit comes from Collectif, and is a new spin on an old favorite. It’s the classic Delores dress in ivory, with blush pink polka dots. Another little detail is that the buttons on the front are hearts! It makes it super sweet and effortlessly adorable. As with all the other Delores dresses, it has a standard swing dress, a ruched bust, and elastic lining on the cap sleeves.

Honey wanted to play up on the pink of the dress so she could coordinate with me! In her hair, we chose out a white head scarf and tied it into a bow and pinned it to her hair. Then to accentuate the heart buttons, she paired it with some pink heart earrings. And to bring some balance to the outfit she picked out a pink belt! Overall I really love how this look turned out.

If you’ve read through my blog, you will know that recently I had the opportunity to review a new strawberry dress from Unique Vintage. I said there was more where that came from, and I was not lying! Here is another one, called the KImberly. This number is plain red with tiny strawberries going down the front. You can’t see in the pictures, but it has a sweetheart neckline and straps. I didn’t wear a petticoat underneath because it wasn’t quite full enough.

On top of that is a strawberry cardigan, with small cable knit design, and embroidered strawberries on the top. It was soft, and the 3D nature of the embroidery really makes it feel like something your grandmother made for you!

To contrast the red on the dress, green was the obvious belt color! And obviously I had to choose out strawberry earrings to complement the dress. Then a green head scarf to match the belt and complete the whole outfit! This was such a cute ensemble, I am seriously considering going back and getting these pieces.

This last look is also inspired by my favorite red fruit! It consists of a green and black striped Deena top from Unique Vintage. The sleeves on it are cap sleeved, almost off the shoulder but not. If you wanted MORE strawberry buttons, get ready for this next cardigan! It’s the Lucy cardigan from Unique vintage and is perfect if you want a more understated, yet fruity look.

The skirt is for those of you that like bling! It’s a fabulous sequin strawberry skirt! It is a bit shorter than knee length, and it’s not exactly authentic. But if you wanting a vintage inspired look, then this is the one for you. The lining is black, with a black tulle overlay and sequined strawberries atop that. And, an elastic waist, so eat to your heart’s content!

For accessories, Honey also picked some strawberry earrings, a red belt, and then a rose for her hair. What I love about Pink House Boutique is that they have you covered for your whole look. Not only can you get the perfect outfit, but you can accessorize to the nines with all of the options! The only thing missing from Pink House is the shoes. But hey, maybe one day.

Thanks a million to Nikki of Pink House Boutique for letting us come over and try on all these goodies! I always love to support small business but especially pinup related ones! If you are here in Arizona, I highly recommend it, and recommend checking out the site if you are not. This upcoming Wednesday Nikki is putting on a fashion show which both Honey and I will be participating in.

Stop by, say hi, and treat yourself to a new outfit while Honey and I strut our stuff! I will see you all next month! Until next time.
