Former security guards known as the Happie Boys were recently arraigned before a court in Cyprus for an unspecified crime and remanded in an underground prison by the court.
Remember that the popular man of God, Apostle Chibuzor of OPM, brought the Happie Boys to Cyprus to study but then turned on him in a video that went viral on the internet, resulting in the man of God cursing them.
Although details of their arrest and detention is still sketchy as at the time of filing this report, but recall that Happie boys made news earlier this year after they called out clergyman, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, who sent them on scholarship to Cyprus after they were sacked by a fast food restaurant for dancing on duty.
The boys led by Matthew Kelechi, made fun of the renowned priest alleging that he abandoned them in Cyprus.
They subsequently rejected the clergyman’s offer to pay for their return flights to Nigeria so they could attend any university in Nigeria or Benin Republic.
The boys also made unpleasant remarks about the clergyman and mocked his inability to continue their overseas scholarship in Europe over economic reasons and scarcity of foreign exchange.
