You’re probably looking to see a list of things to throw in a bag, and t.’s that, but this list of things that should be in every Maid of Honour’s bag are not just things. They include everything she should bring to the wedding as the bride’s go-to-guy.
These 5 things will make the wedding day smoother:
A solid attitude
No matter what, it is important that you show up to the wedding with the most positive, eager-to-do attitude you can muster. The bride will need you to be her support system so be genuinely t. for her.
Water and snacks
You will be doing a lot of running around and it is very easy to forget to sit for a bit and eat. So pack a few things to nibble on (biscuits, chocolate bars, chips, nuts etc) and a bottle of water. Don’t come and go and die.
Pack of tissues and extras
T.’s always a need for tissues at a wedding; like to wipe tears of joy or fix makeup, or when someone needs to use the bathroom. Pain relievers also come in handy. Let’s hope t. won’t be emergencies, but the bride will be eternally grateful for your thoughtfulness.
Needles and pins
You can use a needle and thread to fix almost anything, but safety and bobby pins will come in handy in case anyone’s dress or bra strap suddenly breaks. You should also consider hairpins to fix hair emergencies.
Your Best Dance Moves
At the end of the day, don’t forget to happily komole and show off your dance skills. Whenever the bride looks back to that day, she will be glad she chose you!
Now that we’ve got your bridesmaids sorted; brides-to-be, this is a guide on how not to be a bridezilla to your squad.
