North West’s Christmas Decor 2023 is starting a controversy. The true spirit of Christmas is love and and care for others which is why netizens were offended when Kim Kardashian and her 10 years old daughter, North West showed off her over the top fancy Christmas decor. The video of North’s room was posted by their shared TikTok account and it featured multiple Chanel themed Christmas trees. The camera panned over to show the snowy theme of the decor, along with luxuriously wrapped piles of gifts.
People quickly started criticizing Kim’s parenting choices. They showed their disagreement on taking away the true spirit of Christmas and overpowering it with materialism that her family is known for. People also were quick to add that North is too young to be getting spoiled by luxuries on a holiday that is purely about spending good times with the loved ones. The controversy revolved around North loosing the true essence of her childhood and the spirit of the holiday.
However, some fans defended the video by saying “Let her enjoy, North is only young once”. The supporters pointed out that everybody has their own style of parenting and the internet should not question that.
