1 Rack of ribs - beef or pork
1 Bottle of BBQ sauce
4 Table spoons of brown sugar
1 Table spoon of salt
1/2 Tea spoon black pepper
1 Table spoon garlic powder
1 Table spoon of onion powder
1 Table spoon of oregano
1/2 Table spoon of cayenne
1 Table spoon of chili powder
4 Table spoons of paprika
1 Table spoon of cumin
The first thing you do is mix all the dry rub ingredients together in a aluminum tray. Place the rack in the tray and fully cover with the dry rub. don't forget the sides.
When your smoker is at 220-240 take the ribs out of the try and place on the smoker rack.
After about 4hrs in the smoker at 220-240 check your ribs. When the bone is popping out the side you know phase one is done.
Take the ribs out and cover them in BBQ sauce and then wrap them in aluminum foil.
Place them back in the smoker for 2hrs at 300+ I have found the higher the heat the better.
After 2hrs remove the ribs from smoker and let sit for 20 minutes then serve. The best you'll ever have.
