10 Day Clinique Skincare Review

Hi loves!

"After 10 complete days of testing out Clinique's 3 Step Skin Regime, I have noticed some great results. However, I have some input to add on all three products and if they're worth buying or not. This post is by all means not sponsored, and therefore I will be speaking with all honesty, and merely stating my personal opinions."

My skin type...  (Skin type 3: Combination Only)

Liquid Facial Soap
I was quite hesitant of this specific product being included in the set, as I already have my Clean n Clear facial soap that does me enough justice. However, after educating myself with quite an amount of reviews, I realised that it was the best of all three for most. I have to be honest it does leave my skin feeling extremely smooth after each application. It removes all of your makeup residue too. Its definitely great, but not worth 15 dollars. Its quite expensive for the size you're supplied with. Other skincare brands succeed at giving you quantity, quality but still remains pocket friendly.
Nevertheless, if you want to use this set that is marketed in stores as an "offer", you need to use all three products of the same brand (Clinique), as to not mess up with your skin. To me, that sounds like a heck of a marketing strategy.

Clarifying Lotion
This product sounded quite interesting to me. I'm used to lotions being soft, silky and moisturizing. Clinique flipped the cards. This product gets rid of your excess oily areas that cause you to break out. I have to be honest, this definitely dries out your skin and aids in getting rid of any unwanted pimples. Yet, Clinique makes sure that you follow up with the moisturizing gel (mentioned later). Overall, I like this product as it really made a difference with my oily t-zone. Note: be careful with applying it, as it is harsh on the skin at first. Make sure your skin type can handle this. If your skin leans more towards drier skin, then I personally advise you to use the mild clarifying lotion.

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
Honestly, this was my favorite out of the three. Not one late night or early morning did I dread applying this as I did with the other at times. This was specially designed to cater for oily t-zone customers like me. Never did I think that there is such a thing as a moisturizer that does not contain any oil to add up to your accumulation. It feels extremely light on your skin, and the dewy feeling dries up as soon as you step out of your bathroom. I noticed a major difference with my t-zone, and no longer wipe my oily residue. It does the job, and moisturizes your skin after applying the drying clarifying lotion. It is the perfect product to place at the last step.
The only downside I have to say is that it is quite expensive for its size. I paid 15 dollars for a 50ml tube. If I was to find another reputable brand that is cheaper, and more satisfactory with its quantity, then I will have to sacrifice this great product.

In general, I think that this set as a whole is a satisfactory purchase, as it is a trusted brand and dermatologically tested. I advise each product individually. Overall, I give this set a

7/10
