Types of Exercise Which Good for Diabetics

Aerobic

Aerobic makes your heart and bones strong, reduce stress and improve blood flow. Aerobics also lowers the risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease and stroke by keeping blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure in the normal range. Perform aerobic exercise for 30 minutes at least 5 times a week. If you're new to exercise, do 5 to 10 minutes a day, then increase gradually each week.
Examples of aerobic that can be done is a quick walk, dance or aerobics classes. If you have a nerve problem in the foot or knee joint, you should reduce the load on the foot by choosing swimming, cycling or rowing.


Weight Lifting

Weight lifting can help improve bone strength and muscle while burning fat and maintaining bone density. Perform weight training 2-3 times a week in aerobic addition.
Weight training can be done with sit ups, push ups, lifting weights at home or use the exercise equipment at the fitness center.


Stretching

Stretching or stretching can prevent muscle cramps, stiffness and muscle injury. Several types of flexibility exercises such as yoga and tai chi involves meditation and breathing techniques that reduce stress. Perform stretching exercises 5-10 minutes before exercise (heating) and do it again after exercise (cooling).


Other activities?

Physical activity can also be done while doing daily activities for extra, examples:
Pick up the stairs of the escalator or elevator ride
The car park at a distance from the entrance to the mall
A quick walk or bike when there is a chance
Playing with children
