Namaste in Yoga ( Namaskar or Namskaram) is a salutation mostly used in Indian subcontinent during visit with friends, relatives and elders. When saying this salutation with the person you meet, it is commonly accompanied by a slight bow made with hands joined together, palms touching and fingers pointed upwards, in front of the chest. This gesture is known as abhinandan or anjali mudra
