The BEST Bottomless Brunch.

I’d never heard of Bottomless Brunch before until my friend suggested we go a couple of weeks ago. I had just assumed that it meant bottomless food but after googling the place (I’m one of these people that have to check out the menu before they go anywhere) I realised it wasn’t referring to the food at all, it meant the alcohol! You are given a time slot, usually between an hour and a half and two hours, and within the time, when you finish one drink, you are immediately given another. I was in heaven and when I found I had a morning in London to kill, I knew I could find somewhere to occupy me for 2 hours J

What I didn’t realise is that bottomless Brunch only seems to happen on a weekend; I guess drinking 20 mimosas before 12pm on a Monday may be slightly frowned upon But after a few hours googling and emailing, I came across Beany Green.

The Beany Green is part of the Daisy family, a collection of Australian inspired Cafés around London that also happen to do bottomless brunch on a weekday, hallelujah! Looking at their menu, I could instantly tell that this wasn’t going to be a normal brunch. With quinoa porridge, award winning banana bread and charcoal activated toast, it was definitely healthy (if you took away the bottomless alcohol part) and I couldn’t wait to give it a go!

I’d studied the menu many times before to try and work out what I wanted (you are allowed 1 hot and 1 cold dish and they all sounded incredible) so I knew exactly what I was going to order when I got there. Thankfully my friend didn’t do the same so I was able to persuade them to pick the other items that I fancied. Yes I know, that was a little selfish but hey, it is bloody hard to narrow down two dishes when the menu is so incredible!

What I didn’t realise was how incredible these dishes would be – both in appearance and in taste. I went for the summer porridge (which was the most amazing porridge I have ever eaten. So much so I may already have a quinoa porridge Pinterest board) and avocado on charcoal and my friend went for their famous banana bread sandwich and fancy bacon roll. Along with 6 mimosa’s each (well, it is bottomless after all), it was the best brunch I have ever eaten!

They have different locations across London – we went to Little Venice, which was adorable. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, our table had a lovely view of the canal which was perfect for people watching and although it was extremely busy, especially at lunch time, it didn’t feel crowded in the slightest.

So cost. Yes it is a little costly but my gosh is it worth it. For £35, you get 1 hot dish, 1 cost dish and unlimited mimosas, Bloody Marys or prosecco (you don’t have to stick to the same drink) for 2 hours. It is the perfect place to go for a special occasion, on a date or just because.

Check out their website (even if it’s just for their incredible food photos):

If you’re in London, please please go and check it out and let me know what you think. You won’t be disappointed!

Has anyone else been to any bottomless brunch places?

What is your favourite thing to have for brunch?
