Alpha Star Labs Review 2023 – Real Life Experience

Tons of research chemical companies have popped up over the last several years, but as many researchers and biohackers know all too well, a good portion of them are illegitimate and certainly don’t offer top-quality products. Nowadays, it can be tricky to figure out which companies have your best interests in mind, and you always have to be on the lookout for scams. Thankfully, we’ve taken the guesswork out of the equation for our readers when it comes to selecting the right company for research chemicals and SARMs. Meet Alpha Star Labs, the research community’s new top source for legitimate, third-party tested, and efficacious compounds. Here, we’ll take a closer look at what the company has to offer and show you our experience ordering from.

What is Alpha Star Labs?

Alpha Star Labs is one of the most recent research chemical companies to have popped up in the last 2-3 years. They were created with one goal in mind – to provide legitimate, tested, and efficacious compounds for the research community.

How do they do this? Every single product they offer is third-party tested, assigned a batch number to ensure complete transparency, and has an average purity of 99%. And, all product pages have COAs for every single batch made.

They currently ship all throughout the US and also ships to roughly 20 countries in the EU as well.

Products Sold by Alpha Star Labs

Alpha Star Labs offers both liquid and powder forms of several of today’s most popular SARMs and research chemicals. Some of the products they offer include Enclomiphene, GW501516, LGD-4033, MK-2866, MK-677, and RAD140.

Currently, they offer 24 products in total, but they’re looking to expand their selection immensely within the next few years.

Alpha Star Labs Pricing

Pricing for research chemicals varies by the specific chemical and the type of form you purchase it in. Products range from $45-$90 per 30 mL vial or 1 g packet. Solutions typically range from $50-$70, whereas powder forms of research chemicals range from $45-$90.

Alpha Star Labs Payment Methods

They currently offer 4 different payment methods:

  • Bitcoin
  • Credit Card
  • Afterpay
  • Zelle

They use BTCPay to accept bitcoin payments and during checkout, you’ll have an option to either scan the QR code from your cell phone or another device, or you can copy the wallet address and send a payment their way.

Credit card payments are an option for both domestic and international orders. Domestic orders only require you to enter your credit card details at checkout. For international orders, however, you’ll receive an invoice through a text message to your cell phone or through an email. The invoice is secure and encrypted and allows you to enter your credit card details to complete payment.

With Afterpay, you’ll make 4 separate payments altogether. You’ll be required to pay 25% upfront, and then pay the remaining amount between 3 additional payments that occur every 2 weeks.

And, if you instead choose to use Zelle, you can complete your payment by sending it to [email protected].

Alpha Star Labs Shipping

Currently, they ship throughout the U.S. and to most countries in the European Union. And, they’re looking to expand into the UK and other countries in the near future.

My Experience with Alpha Star Labs

We were interested to see how Alpha Star Labs stacked up against its competition, so I placed an order with them to review their products. Here, I’ll show you the entire process of ordering from the company from start to finish. I’ve included a close-up look at the two products I ordered as well as an unboxing video so you could see what their packaging and delivery look like.

Selecting Products

I decided to order one product for the purpose of researching fat and glucose metabolism, and another to research testosterone production enhancement. Thus, I selected Cardarine (GW-501516) and Enclomiphene. Here’s what their respective product pages and COAs looked like:

Cardarine

Enclophimene

About the Products I Received

Let’s take a closer look at each of the products I ordered along with what their specific research purposes and typical dosages are.

Cardarine (GW501516)

Cardarine isn’t exactly a SARM, even though many biohackers consider it to be one. Rather, it’s a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR). PPARs are a class of ligand-dependent nuclear transcription factors that are critical for metabolic homeostasis. (1) In fact, Cardarine is a synthetic PPARδ-specific agonist that has been used towards discovering strategies to treat a wide variety of metabolic diseases. (2)

In most research studies, subjects have been administered 2.5-10 mg/ml per day for 2 weeks. For reference, in one study GW501516 was compared to a placebo in healthy volunteers to evaluate its effects on HDLc and TGs. 6 subjects were allocated a placebo, while the remaining 18 subjects were administered GW501516 at either 2.5 mg (n=9) or 10 mg (n=9). GW501516 was administered orally, once daily for 2 weeks while the subjects were hospitalized and sedentary. The results of the study showed that GW501516 enhanced in vivo serum fat clearance and that it resulted in vitro upregulation in human skeletal muscle fat utilization and ABCA1 expression. (3)

Another study demonstrated that GW501516 reverses multiple abnormalities associated with metabolic syndrome without increasing oxidative stress. There were statistically significant reductions in fasting plasma triglycerides (-30%), apolipoprotein B (-26%), LDL cholesterol (-23%), and insulin (-11%), as well as a 20% reduction in liver fat content and a 30% reduction in urinary isoprostanes. This particular study allocated 10 mg/ml per day to six healthy moderately overweight subjects for a period of 2 weeks. (4)

Enclomiphene

Ever heard of Clomid? If so, then Enclomiphene won’t be much of a stranger to you. Clomid is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that’s typically prescribed by doctors to women to induce ovulation. It’s also prescribed off-label to men who want an alternative to testosterone replacement therapy, or who want to improve sperm production.

Enclomiphene is a stereoisomer of Clomid and an estrogen receptor antagonist that’s been shown to increase follicle-stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, and serum total testosterone. It’s recently been subscribed to men (under the brand name Androxal) as an alternative to Clomid since many men report undesired side effects from Clomid’s use, such as major emotional disturbances.

This study demonstrated that Enclomiphene raises free and total serum testosterone in hypogonadal men with the use of dosages ranging between 12.5-50 mg per day over the course of 2 weeks. Oral enclomiphene citrate was administered to men in doses of 12.5 mg (n=10), 25 mg (n=11), and 50 mg (n=11) and was compared to placebo (n=10) and AndroGel® 1% (5.0 G) (n=10). The study resulted in the following dose-dependent rises in total testosterone levels with enclomiphene: 12.5 mg per day was associated with a level of 412 ± 194 ng/dL; 25 mg per day with 520 ± 160 ng/dL, and 50 mg per day with 589 ± 172 ng/dL. The placebo group showed no increase in serum testosterone and the active control group resulted in a level 473 ± 289 ng/dL. (5)

Final Thoughts

Overall, I was very pleased with ordering from Alpha Star Labs. Not only was shipping extremely fast, but the products were top-notch, easy to measure out with the proper tools, and professionally packaged. They were also competitively priced with other top brands and offered several secure payment methods for ordering. And to top it all off, they offered the majority of their products in both liquid and powder forms.

Alpha Star Labs vs. Other Top Research Chemical Companies

Alpha Star Labs vs. Chemyo

Chemyo is one of the leading suppliers of high-quality SARMs available today. They offer a huge range of liquid and powder forms of SARMs, and they even sell nootropics and other supplements too. Prices range from $60-$80 per 50 ml solution, and $15-$100 per 1 g of powder. It should be noted that you typically get the most bang for your buck with solution-based SARMs if you go with Alpha Star Labs over other companies since they sell 50 ml size solutions and not the typical 30 ml size. They even offer value packs for additional discounts too.

Alpha Star Labs vs. Amino Asylum

Amino Asylum is a relatively new brand compared to others but provides a wide variety of products including SARMs, peptides, prohormones, aminos, and other research chemicals. They offer a similar selection of SARMs to Alpha Star Labs, but they only offer liquid solutions.

Alpha Star Labs vs. Biotech Peptides

Biotech Peptides specializes in, you guessed it, research peptides. They offer both injectable and topical peptides, and they even have peptide blends. Unlike Alpha Star Labs, Biotech Peptides does not offer SARMs or other types of research chemicals. Prices vary widely for their products, with their least expensive product starting at $16 per vial, and their most expensive product costing $270 per vial.
