YOUR PACE OR MINE?

One thing I try to emphasise when I coach is that there’s no one size fits all policy when it comes to pacing a Workout. I’ve learned this the hard way and seen many others do the same.  Take, for example, a workout with a 500m row at the start. You and your training buddy are doing the workout together. What is a maximum effort for them is only a 6-7 RPE (Rating of Perceived Exertion) for you. However, the next part of the workout might consist of some gymnastics, and they have a maximum set of 20 plus
