Fight Weight Gain: Water is Step 1

Fight Weight Gain: Water is Step 1

Wake up! That was boring. I admit. Let's start again; we are here to lose weight. We have already understood some of the factors that lead to weight gain. Water covers 71% of Earth and without it, no living things can…well, live.

Water has MANY health benefits and yes, one of them is weight loss. I am sure you know that. But knowing something does not necessarily mean you'll apply it. I will write in detail so that you can easily see how much water aids to weight loss.

We don't get much free time in our daily lives. With so many tastier options out there water falls below in our liquid chain. Less water intake means more dehydration. Dehydration is something you don't want. You will be tired and won't have any energy.
Our body needs water. When you exercise there will be a constant need of water.

Drink water to hydrate and continue exercising. What happens when you exercise? You burn fat. Keep burning fat, you will soon start losing weight. Pretty awesome indeed.

How do you face hunger? You eat. Since you are ready to enter a diet program, an unhealthy snack will make you its prey. They are like sirens! As soon as you have that food you put your body at risk. It is harmful for your diet and you gain weight. Eat healthy meals and when you get hungry, drink water in between.

We have all been taught about digestion in school. I personally found it quite boring and unimportant. Once I started my diet program and began understanding about water I realized something important. You see our body needs water to break down food so that we can get the proper nutrients. No proper nutrients mean no proper weight, be it underweight or overweight. Water absorbs the nutrients. So if your water intake isn't right, no diet plan will work.

There is so much at stake when you really think carefully. Body temperature, blood pressure, fat etc. all you have to do is drink water and everything will be taken care of. Some often wonder how water is connected to losing fat. Without adequate water intake there will not be enough sweat and urination. They are an exit for fat and they need water to function properly.

Get the picture? Water really plays a major part. The idea is to drink lots of water and eat healthy food. This will help the most. We hear a lot of times that 8 glasses of water is the right number. Is it scientifically proven? Doesn't matter. The more you drink water the better. There are no drawbacks. Yeah the restroom visits will be more, so what? As long as you are on a healthy diet plan, restroom visit records should not be a matter.

1.    Drink a glass before you have the meal. The healthy contents of that meal will be discussed later. For now make it a point to drink water before a meal allowing you to feel full.

2.    Wherever you go, keep a water bottle with you. It doesn't matter if you are James Bond on a mission saving the world or the President, dehydration affects us all.

3.    Try to avoid cold drinks. Beer, soda-you name it. Have some water.

4.     Even I know that always sticking to water is not fun. There are many who want something that tastes better. No I am not referring the soda, how about some lemonade!
