Weight is one of the difficult things many struggle with in frustration. Although, in this situation most realize the impact excessive weight can have on their health. Excess weight contributes to many health issues and worsens quality of life.
When it comes to losing weight, some things work well while others fall short. In doing the same thing, making the same mistakes over and over, as well getting the wrong information will definitely not get you to the place you want. It does take a lot of discipline and realizing that changing your lifestyle is the only way you will have success. You will have to work at it as in making changes, such as how to eat, what diet to choose, the type of exercise etc.
All this as a combination is needed when it comes to overcome the debilitating nature of this condition. Waiting too long to do something about this situation is a mistake.
Mistake #1
Making drastic changes to fast; changing too many things at once are not sustainable, it will relate to failure and disappointment. Not only your way of thinking, your Body as well must have time to change. Being obese or over-weight also means being on the wrong Food for a long time. Eliminating all the wrong things too quick such as sugar carbs etc. will not only affect your body but your mind as well. At the same time as decrease takes place, you must increase good nutrition, minerals and vitamins.
Mistake #2
Research widely known for a long time to undergo surgery by reducing the food intake has been many times a failure and on occasions even deadly. When it comes to fixing any weight problems, the only safe way is the natural way. Any surgery has a risk factor and should only be considered when there are no other options. Given the many years your weight problem exists this will also take time to reverse. So, if you have been given advice for a crash diet or lose weight fast, please remember it is a mistake and not sustainable, failure is a certainty.
Mistake #3
Carrying extra weight is restricting in many ways. It is difficult or impossible to do what you used to do. Not to do anything to lose weight is a mistake. Immobility will get worse. It can bring on back pain, arthritis, pain in the joints as well diabetes because of the extra weight you carry, and restrict movements.
This will take a lot of effort to get back into shape and stay there. The mistake many make is to give up too soon. The process of losing weight is slow, and is better so. Don't try to speed up the process with medicine or pills; this does not work, is unhealthy and a mistake. Our bodies are as such from the stuff we eat, our blood-cells and tissues are grown independently and need good quality of nutrition. When it comes to reducing weight, taking natural supplements to help is a better way. It is a mistake to think you are not able to do this by yourself. With the right mindset you will, just don't give up once you started.
Regardless what the experts tell you!
Foods high in fat (the right fats), are often your best friends in the fight against weight. Weight loss happens when you add simple nutrients to your diet each day which are found in abundance in natural foods. To improve metabolism and burn more fat drink green and herbal teas instead of juices. This of course excludes juices you make yourself from fresh fruits and vegetables, no added sugar.
Weight loss has very little to do with calorie count: Actually, you can eat as much food as you want, as long as it is the right food. Most of the leading weight loss programs targeting with obsession counting your daily calories. As far back as the seventies the experts told us fat is bad. What they should have told us is, only some fats are bad. A diet totally fat-free is most harmful. A part of the body's essential fuel is fat. The fact is, sugary low-fat and fat-free foods are more fattening than the original full fat.
Avoid all breakfast cereals, juices, soft drinks, colas etc. Drink water, coffee (black, no milk or sugar), use some honey as sweetener. Make your own juice; use herbs, spices, plant extracts, minerals and vitamins. For instance: Capsaicin, found in cayenne pepper is able to fight obesity by decreasing calorie intake, shrinking fat tissues and lowering blood fat levels. Spicy food, chilies, hot peppers, habaneros, garlic etc. can prevent cancer, fight diabetes and relieve pain. Spicy food is fighting fat build-up by triggering beneficial protein changes in the body. Latest findings about salt are: Salt decreases thirst, salt boosts hunger and salt increases water retention. Just the opposite of what we've been told about salt.
Remember: The right fat does not increase your weight, sugar, processed foods and carbohydrates do.
Exercise: Sitting too long too often is not a health benefit for your body. In fact, it becomes an independent risk factor for poor health and weight gain. Avoid sitting in one place; no longer or less than one hour. Just walking a few steps before sitting down again will be of benefit. An unhealthy sitting posture is not only bad for your back, it also affects the bloodstream, muscle tissues and joints. Extreme exercise will not lose weight any faster; every day brisk walking is a better option. Consistency in all of these is important to reach your goal and get the outcome you are looking for.
