Over the years, I’ve made a point of making sure my home is full of some of the best at home Workout equipment that I can use whether I’m doing programs like T25 or P90X3, or just using independently of any program. For a great list of that equipment I like most for my home, check out the article on the 10 Best Products Money Can Buy For Your Home Gym. But for you travelers out there who need to workout on the road, it’s important to know what some of the best workout products for travel.

Whether you travel for work, or want to have something you can bring to vacation with you so you can get a great workout when there isn’t a gym at the resort, these are the best workout products for travel. Each of these products is easy to pack and can be used virtually anywhere, from your hotel room to that spot you love overlooking some water!

Daily Burn and Beachbody On Demand

While this might not be a piece of equipment, I can’t recommend these products enough, especially for those of you who are away from home often and want to keep with a workout routine. Check out our article on the differences between Daily Burn vs Beachbody On Demand. You can keep up with a longer programs like P90X3 and Insanity Max 30, or check out any of the many one-off programs that give you tons of unique ways to get a great workout. More than any one piece of equipment, these services are the best workout products for travel.

TRX Straps

TRX straps are great because they can hook onto almost any door and be used to get great cardio and strength based workouts. They’re ultra-easy to pack and roll up in any kind of duffel bag or carry on, so even if you travel light, you can still find space for these straps. You can easily search for great TRX straps workouts online, and set up is very simple.

Running Belt

You don’t have to be training for a marathon to get the benefits of a great running belt. Two of the best running belts are Flipbelt and SPIbelt. These are great tools to use when you leave your hotel or rental and get a jog in, or great to wear for any kind of outdoor workout and don’t want to carry your keys and wallet in your pockets. At less than $30, the Flipbelt makes for an easy-to-pack option that you’ll hardly notice when you’re working out.

Resistance Bands

I love resistance bands because they can take simple moves anyone knows how to do, like air squats or lunges, and amplifies them to make for incredible workouts. These resistance bands are inexpensive, and you get a variety of resistances so you can take only what you need, or take them all and can do some partner workouts. These are great for beach workouts, hotel workouts, and just about everything in between.

Massage Stick

As I got older, I learned the value of going beyond normal stretching to keep my body working the way I want it to. That is why, whether for travel or at home, I always keep a massage stick nearby to roll out any tight muscles. The Stick Little Stick is a little bigger than a ruler, but it packs a punch when you unleash its power on your calf muscles after a leg workout.

Jump Rope

Anyone who thinks jumping rope is just for the playground hasn’t jumped rope…since they were old enough to play on a playground! These things are no joke when you try to string together 50-100-200 simultaneous jumps. You can get a cheap one if you prefer, but at just over $20, the Rogue SR-1S is a fantastic jump rope that will look good, feel good, and give you the kind of killer workout that you might not expect.
