Level-5 will host a “Yo-kai Watch 5th Anniversary Title Presentation” on June 27, where it will announce its previously teased new entry in the series. The presentation will be live streamed on YouTube.

The official website for the event features a main visual of Komasan and Jibanyan Holding Smartphones with question marks on them, and a town of yo-kai behind them.

Given that the previously reported teaser text for the new title included “An ultra epic title that will shake the world” and “Head out on a grand adventure with your smartphone,” and the fact that Komasan and Jibanyan are holding smartphones, it is likely the new title to be announced is a smartphone game.
