Still being very apprehensive to dineout  in the pandemic especially in a Buffet setup, came across the Buffet in a Box being delivered by Sattvam Restaurant in Bengaluru. Not being entirely convinced that the buffet box was worth to be ordered with a price tag of around INR 1000, did some review search on the net and came across very positive ones and I am writing one now which means I went ahead with it !!

So decision being made to order, next dilemma was the quantity. Its a different story when one is dining in and we pick and choose few items from the spread that we want to try and some that we don’t. When its delivered home, its how big or small the portion will be. We went in for 2 and it was good enough for 4 people, actually another half being my 6 year old!!

Swiggy was the delivery partner and all concerns about packaging was thrown out the door when the food arrived so well packed to I would say perfection. No spillage, no holes or no open boxes, just sealed top class! It was time to relish a pure vegetarian sattvic meal

If I have to pick a few of my fav from the list, it has to be the starters and desserts. The mains were a little heavy and fills up your stomach but overall it does give an experience of a buffer at home! Biryani and Dahi Vada were one of the best. Checkout the video for a quick glance.

Overall a good experience and they also have a mini buffet now with some items removed and priced at around INR 700. Recommendation is to go for it!
