Fujifilm announced the launch of X-S10 in the month of Oct 2020. The Fujifilm X series of digital cameras consists of Fujifilm’s high-end digital cameras and is aimed at professional and keen enthusiast photographers. It is part of the larger range of Fujifilm’s digital cameras. The X series itself is not characterized by a single common sensor size or technology.

These cameras are known for their compact and lightweight body and superior image quality based on the company’s proprietary color reproduction technology.

For the price tag of under $1000, X-S10 offers more value compared other offerings from Cannon and Sony (M6 II, A6600).

The camera has some high-end features which only are available in more expensive pro cameras like the 6.0 stops of five axis image stabilization mechanism. IBIS

The camera offers 6.0 stops of stabilization when used with 20 of the existing interchangeable lenses (XF/XC lenses) for the X Series.

Along with IBIS system, the camera also features a electronic image stabilization for video. It makes fine adjustments to framing in line with camera shakes to effectively control motion blurs that typically occur when shooting hand-held.

The X-S10 generates 4K video from the amount of data equivalent to 6K. It can record 4k / 30P 4:2:0, 8-bit video on SD card and can also record 4k/30P 4.2.2, 10-bit video on external records via HDMI port.

The camera can also produce 10x slow motion video by recording at 240 fps full HD recording.

The X-S10 features a total of 18 Film Simulation modes including the vivid and high-contrast “Velvia” and high-contrast yet low-saturation “ETERNA Bleach Bypass” .
