The Tigers look to keep the good times rolling against the Tribe as the third game of our four game series kicks off at 7:10 EST tonight. The team has been playing real solid baseball over the last couple of games and look to keep this going against Carlos Carrasco. The Indians have had solid starts from Carrasco who has an impressive 2.04 ERA this season.

Detroit looks to Matthew Boyd to hold off the Tribe tonight. Boyd who has had an impressive season this far, 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA, looks for help from the rejuvenated Tigers offense this evening. A win in tonight’s game will move the Tigers above Cleveland in the standings and one spot closer to first place!

Looking Back:

Last night’s game was an impressive performance from a team that is set to make a deep playoff run. That is of course if we keep playing like we did last night! A strong outing from Justin Verlander, along with another show of offensive might, helped Detroit to a 5-2 win over Cleveland. A highlight of the night, besides JV’s pitching, was the return of Miguel Cabrera. Miggy was only 1-4 at the plate, but he made sure that 1 was special, with his 450th career home run!
