Frank Lampard’s side has just been lifted from transfer ban and fans are expecting the club to spend big this January. Lampard will enter the market for the first time after becoming a head coach.

According to Sport Witness, Dinamo Zagreb have received a ‘firm offer’ from the west London outfit for the attacking midfielder.

Many names have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this month including Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and RB Leipzig’s pacy forward Timo Werner.

Dani Olmo had a good season for Dinamo Zagreb scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists. Dani made 44 appearances for the Croatian club in the 18/19 season.

The midfielder also showed that he is capable of playing dominant football for his country as well.

The Spaniard scored three goals and provided one assist in his four appearances in the competition, including scoring what turned out to be the winning goal in the 2-1 win against Germany in the final. He also was awarded the man of the match award for the game.

What did he say about his future?

Amid speculation about clubs being interested, the player was reluctant to give much away when talking about his future. Although he did insist that game time is one of the most important aspects of any move for him.

When asked about summer transfer, he said that, “Honestly, I know absolutely nothing about it. It’s for my manager Andy Bara and my dad.”

He also added, “However, I’m not burdened by this. It’s very simple – (I want) a club where I will play.”

“Because I am still young and for me it is most important that I have minutes.”
