The Famous Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson never really did want to give the jersey number 7 , seven to the youngster David Beckham. As the jersey number seven is a jersey worn with pride at Manchester Untied and their very best players have worn it like George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona. David Beckham , Cristiano Ronaldo and Antonio Valencia. When the French footballer Eric Cantona retired from football the jersey was vacant , and Sir Alex Ferguson wanted the jersey number 7 seven to go to Roy Keane, but Roy Keane was not at all interested in changing his number of his jersey ,as he was happy with the jersey number 16, sixteen.
