Over the last 1500 years people who lost lower limb are using passive crutches and wheelchairs for Mobility. Ever since advancements in robotic field, a new avenue is opened up to provide powered mobility option to paraplegic. Exoskeleton developed by esko comprise of 4 motors, 15 sensors and microprocessor which are used to sense environment and act accordingly to provide mobility. Miniaturising motors and battery with equivalent torque and current rating respectively could bring amazing commercial viability of this sort of products. Micro and nano electromechanical device development hold the future of exoskeleton. Video demonstrate study on powered exoskeleton.
