JUST EAT is using its prominent presence at Electric Picnic to help drive awareness of the issue of homelessness.

Working with its charity partner, Peter McVerry Trust, one of the ‘Tent Talks’ will focus on this growing social issue. JUST EAT will also be tapping into the generosity of festival goers by looking for a voluntary contribution for the treats on offer at the JUST EAT Retreat with all funds raised going to Peter McVerry Trust’s work to provide housing solutions for young people experiencing homelessness.
JUST EAT has dedicated a speaking slot to a representative from Peter McVerry Trust on lunchtime on Saturday 3rd September at Electric Picnic to discuss the issue of youth homelessness and the work of Peter McVerry Trust. This work will also be supported online through JUST EAT’s far-reaching social media channels.
JUST EAT will support the work of Peter McVerry Trust beyond Electric Picnic to raise awareness to the issue of homelessness and raise vital funds for the charity. Further details of the partnership will be announced throughout 2016.

The JUST EAT Retreat was launched today with surprise performancese by the Strypes and Katie Laffan at a pop up Retreat at Grand Canal Dock. The Strypes and Le Galaxie are supporters of Peter McVerry Trust and came together with JUST EAT and Fr Peter McVerry to highlight the partnership as well as the fun on offer at the JUST EAT Retreat.
