We went to try Angle House in Fremantle since we suddenly had craving for French food.
The Restaurant was an old house before being renovated into restaurant. So it had the cosy character feeling to it.
To add to the atmosphere, the waiters and waitresses spoke some French.
However, food was lacklustre. Certainly edible as we ate most of it but nothing to shout about.
The French's contribution to humanity, escargot delicacy, was rather average.
Shrimp gritin was not bad. Nice shrimp flavour in it.
Duck was rather mild. Not what you expect for the price.
Trout was decent but could easily cook up similar dish at home. For its price, expected more.
