1. Tell us about your band and how it all got started?

We are a Metalcore/Post-Hardcore band out of Myrtle Beach, SC. Our band For the Better formed in Northeastern, PA which was started by both guitarists Jake and Craig back in December of 2016. We decided to do a cover of the song Fireflies originally written by Owl City. After releasing the song in January of 2017, we decided to start the band.

2. What bands are you influenced by and why?

Growing up we would listen to many bands that we look up to to this day. Our big influences are Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, A Day To Remember, The Amity Affliction, Asking Alexandria, and Ice Nine Kills. We respect all of these guys 100% and love their hard work and perseverance of making great Music and their positive attitude toward their fans.

3. What is your favorite venue for live shows that you have played or attended shows at?

We have not Played any live shows yet but our favorite venues to go see shows at are the Toyota Pavilion in Scranton, PA, the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes Barrie, PA, and The Lakeview Amphitheater in Syracuse, NY.

4. Where do you see the future of metalcore music is going in 2017 and beyond?

With the way music has been evolving, there is no limit on what the next sound will be.

5. Who are your favorite bands to play with live?

We have not played any live shows yet but we have worked and are working with cool bands in the studio which included Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills.
