The Social Norm are set to release a new vid at their upcoming show at The Townie (Newtown) along with some awesome merch including 12″ vinyl. With their raw industrial rock punk single “BLOWS YOUR MIND’ recently pegged at 4 on Banks Radio Australia, this band has a fusion of grunge, nu-metal, punk and industrial rock.
The Social Norm (TSN) originally started as a studio project for prolific drummer and mulit-instrumentalist Tim Godwin. Needing to return to his heavier roots, Tim recruited Frankie Farrugia, SeaBass Shanks, and Bec Gow to bring together a live combination of fierce vocals, big guitars, bass, analogue synth and smashing drums to deliver a loud and energetic show.
The bands current singles are: ’Yours and Mine’, ‘Bitter Sweet Side’ and ‘Less Is more’—available on Band Camp and will be distributed to all major online stores by March 2018.
With their bio stating “In 2018, TSN plans to gain a solid local following, before to releasing new material towards the end of the year” we kinda figure they are already there
