Salt Lake Temple / Mormon Tabernacle in Late 1800s
These interesting historical photos feature The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints’ Temple and Tabernacle from 1896. This photo was taken just three years after completion of the temple. At 253,015 square feet, it is the largest Latter-Day Saints temple by floor area. Completed in 1893, the temple building took more than 40 years to build.
