Why did HBO cancel the first Game of Thrones Spinoff to get more dragons?

HBO has established a course for its Game of Thrones prequel series, which will follow the ancestors of Daenerys Targaryen. However, this was another prequel in the process, before HBO was promoted to the Dragon House, one that was eliminated after the pilot was already filmed. Now, HBO President Casey Bloys talks about why the first Game of Thrones spin-off was cancelled for more dragons.

This was a big surprise when the untitled Game of Thrones prequel was abandoned, with Jane Goldman as a listener. I already had a cast, including famous stars like Naomi Watts, Naomi Ackie from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Oscar-nominated actress Miranda Richardson and filmed a pilot, but was decided by the HBO demolition It is gone that they are moving forward in place with the Dragon House.

Although the prequel may have stimulated the transition of “Golden Age of Heroes” to its darkest hour, it had the writer R. R. Martin has no material to include the source material, and the program would have to do without it.

House of the Dragon, on the other hand, is based on a book called Fire and Blood and details the history of House Targaryen 300 years before the Game of Thrones events. To be attracted to such a rich story, it is not surprising that HBO has ordered the show for the series. That said, it would be interesting to see what the title of his story and characters was despite not being a novel in this context.
