It can be very exciting to move to a new Town, but it can also be one of the most stressful times with all the preparation that is involved, as well. Sometimes an area of a city or town can be higher in crime, yet 5-10 miles away, it is much safer with lower crime rates. Whether you are single, or moving with a family, this is a very important factor to consider.

Transportation– Does your new town have public transportation that will be accessible to you? Moving to a place where you have access to buses or trains can be a great way to save time and money in getting to and from your destinations. It is also a great way to reduce pollution. Having transportation options near your new residence is a great thing to consideration with your new move.

Job Opportunities– Once you arrive in your new town, will you already have a job lined up? If not, will you be able to find new work once you arrive? If you are moving to your new town without a job already waiting for you, be sure to choose an area that has great opportunities for future work.

Schools– If you have kids, then you might be wondering what the School ratings are for the area. You may want to know if the schools nearby are within your expectations. Having an idea of what the school ratings and proximities are will be an important factor to consider, as well.

After deciding what you plan to keep and what you will repurchase, will you pack up and move everything all on your own? Or will you need to hire professional help?
