The 2016 edition of Bangkok Chess Open takes place April 10-17 in the 5-star Dusit Thani Hotel. The Open section has 248 registered players from 42 countries. Among them are 17 Grandmasters and 24 International Masters. Top seeded are GM Francisco Vallejo Pons, GM Nigel Short, GM Loek Van Wely, and GM Surya Shekhar Ganguly. Games will be daily live on Chessdom.com with Stockfish, Komodo and Houdini. These three engines are part of the Top Chess Engine Championship, which starts against this May 1st.
