12 large mushrooms
1/2 cup chicken liver pate
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
3 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Clean and remove stems from mushrooms.
- In a small mixing bowl, mix the chicken liver pate, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper together.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the mixture and place on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil over the stuffed mushrooms.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and filling is crisp and brown on the top.
- Serve hot as an apetizer or side dish.
