pretty freaking awesome
Chickpea + Avocado
Move on over Hummus, we’re adding Avocado. Avocado pretty much makes everything better so even though hummus tastes yummy on it’s own, avocado just makes everything better.
Ricotta + Honey
Ricotta on bread is surprisingly satisfying. Add some honey for a sweet touch.
Apple + Mascarpone
This is another Sweet Sandwich option. Easier than baking an apple pie but will still satisfy the craving.
Cucumber + Cream Cheese
Okay, this is kind of a staple for tea parties but we love how yummy these are. Cucumbers add the perfect crunch!
Blackberry + Ricotta
Cheese and fruit. Who would have thought. You could pretty much substitute for any berry you wish.
Salmon + Cream Cheese
For a more savoury option, try this salmon and Cream Cheese sammich.
Gouda + Apple Butter
Has anyone else tried apple butter? You should probably try it alone before trying it with gouda. Your taste buds might get overwhelmed.
Strawberry + Brie + Chocolate
The ultimate sweet sandwich. You can alternatively substitute the brie for Cream cheese if you’re not used to brie. Don’t skip out on the chocolate though (why would you?)
Tomato + Avocado + Hummus
A nice pick-me-up snack that will hold you over until dinner. Skip the hummus to make it even lighter and fresher.
Bacon + Peanut Butter
Bacon tastes good with anything. If you’re allergic to peanuts, try almond butter instead. Still as sinful without the anaphylactic shock.
Banana + Cinnamon
This one requires a little bit of work because it involves an oven. But trust us, it is delish.
Tell us:
Would you try any of these or are you determined to stick to the classics?
