Receiving Bitcoin-payments with SegWit support

The company Apirone.com launched the processing of bitcoin-payments with the Support of Segwit technology. The service is fully compatible with Blockchain.info API v1, which is so popular with a wide audience.

The peculiarity of the service is that it does not retain the funds of customers, does not store them, and does not dispose of other people’s “coins.” After the first confirmation of the network block, the amount is immediately redirected to the Address of the recipient.

Apirone.com was the first to make a payment forward using SegWit technology! As the destination address, you can specify any type of bitcoin address that exists at the moment: standard addresses starting with “1” (P2PKH); Pay-Script Hash addresses with SegWit support (P2SH-P2WPKH), starting with “3”; as well as new SegWit addresses starting with “bc” (P2WPKH).

Transactions with SegWit-signature are added to the blocks with priority, and the network commission in this case is much lower, which ultimately saves the sender of the transaction time and money on sending the payment.

By default for payment, the service generates the address P2SH-P2WPKH with SegWit support. With such addresses, both old and modern bitcoin-wallets can work. The service uses this type of address, since at the moment SegWit only supports about 20% of network members, and wallets that support QR-code recognition and pay for native SegWit-addresses are extremely small.

For convenience, the GET request is used when confirming payment. In this case, there are no conflicts with the security policies of various stores or other access problems (for example, restrictions on POST requests from third-party resources).

And for safety geeks and anonymity, there is a possibility of a callback to the TOR network.

The forwarding service API is open to all users and does not require registration. You do not need to verify your e-mail address, and processing does not have the ability to block accounts, because they simply do not need.
