The past two days have been a whirlwind of Christmas cheer with the Residents Christmas Dinner held on Tuesday and Wednesday, where over 300 residents enjoyed some Christmas spirit. This year marked the 12th annual Residents Christmas function and the event have evolved and grown from a small lunch time BBQ under a marquee in the first completed Avenues to a two day dinner time bonanza! Each year Management invite residents to enjoy a Christmas meal together and reflect on the year gone by and to celebrate the community life at Renaissance Victoria Point.
Christmas parties in the past have included all kinds of entertainment and this year was no exception. In a stroke of creativity the idea to create a real live Family Feud game sprung up and so the elves got to work brainstorming, planning, designing and producing a special edition of Family Feud Renaissance Style. Our team of friendly staff were ‘surveyed’ and formed the answers for the contestants to compete for. Contestants chosen from the audience made up the two family teams ‘The Sullivans’ and the ‘Addams Family’ who battled it out. Plenty of laughter ensued along with a night of good food, good wine and great company – which made for a memorable evening.
