Several people are reported to have been Trapped after a demolished house in Kiambu caved in on Wednesday morning.
Personnel from the fire department had arrived and worked to establish the extent of the damage and how they could help those trapped underneath the rubble.
“Several people trapped after a demolished house caved in at Kihunguro area in Ruiru, Kiambu County, rescue operations underway.” Said African Voice.

According to reports, part of the house had already been demolished by KeNHA to pave way for the Eastern Bypass.
A total of five people were trapped under the rubble after it was brought down by KeNHA as confirmed by those were at the site that morning.
Three people were pulled out alive as two were reported dead and taken to city mortuary pending autopsy. The two are reported to have rushed to the scene to steal metals from the collapsed building.
