Where do you come in
We are currently recruiting a highly motivated Press Manager with a passion for electronic music and relevant industry experience to join our growing team.
As a Press Officer, you will be given your own list of artists/events to manage and you will be encouraged to nurture relationships with corporate clients and the wider industry.
The skills you will bring
Essential:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills at all levels
- Keeps abreast of contemporary trends and news in music, media and entertainment
- Existing relationships with music journalists
- Ability to develop campaign strategies for client releases
- Excellent relationship building skills – get to know the artists and management in a friendly yet professional manner, as well as the press
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and juggle a variety of different tasks
The main focus areas of this role are
- Develop campaign strategies for client releases with input from senior executives
- Develop strong relationships with print and online journalists
- Carry out successful press campaigns for clients
- Build relationships with customers
- Attend new and existing client meetings with senior staff members
