SRK starrer Raees and Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil are currently locking horns with each other at the box-office. And it's like a no-holds-barred match. After a slow start, Kaabil is back with a bang on day 2. Just when it appeared that it was going to be a one way traffic in favor of Raees, the box-office has taken a serious turn on Day 2.
While Raees had done a business of 20.42 Crore on Day 1, Kaabil could only manage 10.43 crore. Raees' collection was almost twice as much as Kaabil's. But Day 2, being a national holiday, has seen a dramatic shift. Kaabil has come closer to Raees than what anyone expected.
On Day 2, Hrithik's revenge thriller raked in 18.63 crore with Raees doing a business of 26.30 crore. So, although, Raees still has an upper hand, Kaabil is giving it the run for its money. With the weekend approaching the tussle would only intensify.
By Monday the picture would be clearer. The movie business works on word of mouth. So far it looks even stevens. But surely we would have a winner in about a few days time. Would it be Raees or Kaabil is what remains to be seen!
