How to NOT Be Boring

Short and sweet.

Have you ever come across such a title?

Nope

That’s right, that’s what it means to not be boring.

But you know what really sets me apart from the billion other bloggers?

I say fuck and shit a lot LOL.

Kidding, yeah I use them but my blog is different because I Write like I talk to my friends, people dig that and have fun… which is why they send me emails like this:

“I did enjoy reading your stuff though. At least it’s not some boring shit like everyone else is shoveling.”

…and it came from a person who unsubscribed.

Yeahhh buddy, lightweight baby… wooooo as the big Ron says.

These are the kind of emails you want to get if you want to make it happen online.

So how to not be boring.

1 Stop fucking copying the so called ‘big blogs’

I bet if you searched Google for how to write better articles, or something like that, the first several results would lead you to articles with a million images throughout the content that advice you to know your audience LOL.

That’s because people are like sheep, when the shepherd whistles, they run… when someone says articles with lots of images keep you on the blog longer, everybody starts pasting images left and right.

I’m not saying images are bad, I’m saying you should find your own voice.

Do you see a lot of images around here?

No, because this is not Intsagram, and my blog is still huge, because I write shit that makes a difference, in a way that makes a difference.

Look, blogging is not about just writing and writing, and writing so you could rank higher in Google, even though this is what almost all marketers use it for… blogging is about helping, it’s about entertaining and communicating.

I don’t even do SEO and I rank for pretty much whatever I want.

If you are not passionate about it, or don’t have time, maybe do something else.

Also keep in mind it takes a lot of time to turn it into a profitable venture.

2 Talk about what makes a difference

…not about statistics and facts. Statistics are dead boring… some like them, like those geeks who don’t get business, maybe you can write statistical articles from time to time for them, though try to concentrate on the big picture.

People like me don’t waste time, we read what matters, and believe me, you want people like me on your site.

This one time I bought a 5,000 dollar product (never even used it) just because the guy said ‘fuck it’ at the end of the sales video.

Statistics my ass, wanna sell and not be boring? talk about what matters.

3 Read the book

Read that shit, right now.

Reading gives you knowledge, knowledge makes you interesting… and people like interesting.

4 Read the blog

I’ve written a lot of articles, and you know I don’t talk bullshit. You’ll learn a lot.

5 Be Yourself

I saved the best for last, people always try to copy others… maybe because they don’t have self-confidence, maybe because they are taught so, I have no idea, though you should know copycats are not really the real deal, to say it more politely.

You want people to copy you, and not the other way around.

Forget about ‘find someone who has already made it and follow what they do’, that’s what dumb network marketers say to make you join shit.

You can study successful people, but you have to find your own path.

There you go, you won’t be boring anymore.

I was dead boring when I started this blog several years ago, I talked about the facts, I had only a few people reading, then I said to myself:

‘screw this, I’m gonna start writing as I talk to people, I’m gonna be myself’

…and now the blog gets millions of pageviews.
