Made up the percentage, it can of course be different and depends mainly on your skill, though Facebook Messenger Ads are dead serious.

They have been around for a while, when Facebook rolled them out, I was like:

“that’s way too much work, I’d rather collect emails instead of chat with thousands of people”

That was before I knew about ManyChat (will get to the tool and what it does in a sec).

I haven’t done much paid marketing lately ever since the blog became too huge to need it (I get 81% of traffic from search, that’s the power of assets, people do product launches, forum marketing and short term activities like that, I do assets, they are for life), but I just had to give Messenger Ads a try…

…especially when I found out I could automate the whole messaging process.

If you message everybody by hand, you will not get much done. I tried, even hired a few people, but when you start getting thousands of messages, it kinda gets impossible to handle them all by hand.

Enter Manychat.

The tool takes care of everything after the click, you know, connects the capture page with Messenger and automates whole conversations, you only have to set your budget and run ads to get clicks.

I’ll share with you what I did.

I used the tool to create a simple capture page that offered my book. It was a simple, clear capture page that said:

“where should I send your FREE copy?

Message me and I’ll send it to you (unpublished) FREE before it’s released.”

…with a button (that said: ‘send to messenger’) that redirected people to my page messenger.

Gotta give credits to Frank Kern for this, I’d watched him run a few tests and immediately started my own campaigns.

I am pretty impressed with the tool, technology is awesome.

Once someone clicked the button and messaged me, the tool sent an automatic message with the download link, something like this:

“Hey, thanks for requesting the book. I hope it helps you make a shit ton of money. I’ve attached it here:

(link with pdf.)

let me know how it goes and stay awesome.”

And this is where it gets wild.

The tool can be used to keep the conversation going on its own.

A few minutes after I gave the book away, I sent them another question that goes something like this:

“Hey quick question – do you make sales each day?”

…with two options to choose – yes and no.

Then I asked a few more following questions (with simple clickable yes/no answers) and at the end sold my $5,000 program.

Depending on how the conversation goes, you can continue with the questions until the person asks for whatever you have to sell.

You can basically do whatever you want, you know how to talk to people, just know that you have to be careful, people love to buy, but don’t like to be sold.

I personally enter each conversation myself once the person shows interest.

Facebook knows their business as this type of advertising sells like nothing else.

I spent about $3K on ads and made $15k, just three programs, but still – 300% ROI, or whatever the percentage is… damn, I’ve always hated maths.

Facebook messenger ads work, and they work pretty damn well.

To give you an idea, with regular ads I usually make double (or less) my ad money.

Just when I thought Facebook could not get any sweeter, they killed the game again… I guess that’s why Mark couldn’t count his money.

Here’s your action plan:

1 Get ManyChat

There might be other tools, I don’t know, I use Manychat…. or do it all by hand if you have time and feel comfortable answering thousands of people most of whom will only ask dumb questions.

2 Create a simple capture page

Simple wins all the time.

Not a lot of people understand simple, that means a clear page with great copy that sells, maybe a picture and a call to action button.

That’s about it.

3 Link that landing page to messenger

…your page messenger.

The tool takes care of the rest, just follow the instructions.

4 Head to Facebook ads manager

Set up a few ads and run them. Use a cool picture and entertaining copy.

Don’t be like:

“Hi, I’m bla bla, I’ve made bla bla, this is the best product bla bla, it is right for you bla bla”

No one cares, people like to be entertained.

Be like:

“Where should I send your review copy?”

“For you (SURPRISE!)”

Then some short and fun copy and people would click your ads.

A few years ago when I ran FB ads almost constantly, I only used ‘Entrepreneurs only!’ as a headline and it worked like a motherfucker.

A friend of mine even laughed when one time we had to run some advertising for a product, they asked what the ad headline would be and I said: “Entrepreneurs only”.

They knew I’d been running the same ad for another product for over a year LOL.

But, you know, I’m a huge fan of:

‘if it’s not broken, don’t fix it’

and

‘if you bank freezes your money (because it’s too much), don’t change your fucking ads’

LOL

That actually happened to me a few times with Paypal, I had to show proof the money was legal, or something like that.

This is my analytics – a full bank.

This is what I do. I usually enter each conversation that reaches the fourth question, sometimes – even earlier.

7 Make millions

Gotta love that last step. Might sound a lot now, but the difference between thousands and millions is in the zeros.
