I felt like writing something a bit different, yet very powerful today.

I just watched another episode of The Making of the Mob: New York, which by the way is an awesome show, and a guy there said:

In the mob, you need Intelligence and Big Balls to get ahead…. Sometimes you get someone that is intelligent, but they are not tough, then you get someone who’s really really a tough guy, but they are not intelligent… but when you get that combination of intelligence and big balls, you rise.

That was fucking right on, immediately after I head it, I wanted to write about it.

The only thing they missed is that it’s not just the mob, you need intelligence and big balls to get ahead in everything.

I come from a very poor family (you can read about me in my book if you promise not to laugh), everything I’ve done, I’ve done using my brains and my stubbornness.

I lost millions in 2011 when the fucking financial crisis struck, it was really awful, but I did not feel sorry, I got out there and said:

“Fuck this, Imma be huge”

Then I started this blog.

In the beginning it took me a whole day to write a single, boring blog post that no one read, I worked for years with 0 results, 0 profit, there were times I was really starting to think I could never make it, but then I thought about my goals and pushed like there was no tomorrow…

…now the blog gets 100,000 visits a month and is totally different from anything our there. It took a lot of balls to build it, a lot of brains too, you can’t afford mediocre content if you want big results.

It’s not just the blog, I started my currency exchange business with 200 bucks, now I make it in minutes, but there was a lot of stress to get to this point, so much stress my health almost gave up.

You have to be tough.

I get hundreds of emails a day from people asking how to promote CPAs, how to make money blogging, how to sell some software… and all of them look for that secret key, they think people like me know something they don’t, that’s why we are rich.

Nothing like that.

Einstein once said:

“It’s not that I”m smarter, I only stay with problems longer”

That’s it.

You need balls to push and brains to understand it gets the most difficult right before it gets easy.

You also need money.

The amount of invested money is proportional to the growth time.

Here’s what you need to do to become stupid rich:

1 Pick something you like to make money

Not something that is known to be popular, or something someone told you was the shit, or something someone said was a gold mine… nope, something you like.

Me, I like building assets which is why I started this blog.

You might be more into something that will pay off sooner, or into developing some software, or into building a YouTube empire, just make sure you like it.

2 Save (make, find, borrow) some money to start it

Although something you might not be that thrilled to hear, the more money you have, the faster you will take your business off the ground.

3 Stick with it until you make it

No matter what.

The harder it is, the more you push… until you make it happen big time.

And you will for sure.
