If you want to work from home and make $14-$22 per hour, you might give Vipkid a try.

At VIPKID, you do online English lessons for children in China between the ages of 4 and 12 years old.

Additional details:

• Classes are one-on-one and you will never have to teach more than a single student at a time.
• You do not need to prepare teaching materials. They are provided for you.
• You will not have to communicate with parents at all.
• VIPKID has its own platform that is similar to Skype for doing online lessons.
• You will not always teach the same students every time.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required to ensure that teachers are qualified to help students.
• You can work anywhere you like.
• There are basic technology requirements for doing lessons that you can find on this page.
• Each teacher is required to commit for 6 months to start and contracts can be renewed.
• You will be paid as an independent contractor, so you will have to take care of your own taxes.
• The minimum pay rate is $7-$9 per 30 min. USD with participation and finished class incentives that can each add up to an additional $1 USD per 30 min.
